Ariana Grande has just achieved a special accomplishment that no other recording artist has done so far. She is the first singer to debut in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 song chart with the debut single from each of her first three albums, reports Billboard.
Billboard Magazine calls it an unprecedented Hot 100 feat and it was a fitting accomplishment for Ariana Grande who has kept her focus on her music ever since she broke into the industry back in 2011 with her single “Put Your Hearts Up.”
“The Way,” the debut single of her first album, started off her unprecedented record by landing at No. 10 in the Billboard Hot 100 back in 2013.
One year later, her debut single “Problem” from her second album titled “My Everything” immediately shot to No. 3 following its release.
This year, it is the turn of “Focus,” the debut single to her latest album “Moonlight” which will officially come out next year, has debuted at No. 7 in the Billboard Hot 100, thus completing the first-ever streak in the music industry.
All by herself
What makes “Focus” unique among her two previous debut singles is that Ariana did it all by herself and no other featured artists. But according to reports, the music actually has the uncredited vocals from Jamie Foxx during the song’s chorus.
Her first debut single “The Way” featured Mac Miller, while her second debut track featured Iggy Azalea.
All her three other singles that made it to the Billboard Hot 100 have featured artists too including Zedd on “Break Free,” Jessie J and Nicki Minaj on “Bang Bang,” and The Weeknd on “Love Me Harder.”
It would be interesting to find out if one of the music tracks on her latest album would finally make it to the Billboard Hot 100 without Ariana Grande having a featured artist in it at all.
As an alum of Disney, Ariana Grande is set to perform at the Disney Parks Christmas Special.
Ariana showed up at the Walt Disney World on November 11 where she taped a special performance for the park’s annual Christmas special officially titled “Disney Parks Unforgettable Christmas Celebration,” reports the Daily Mail.
The 22-year-old “Problem” singer will be joined in the special by fellow artists including Jason DeRulo, Andy Grammer, and Jhene Aiko. It will be aired on Christmas Day on ABC.
When she arrived at the Walt Disney World, her attire actually looked very similar to that of the iconic Minnie Mouse character. She wore a black, long-sleeved crop top, a short and silver full skirt complete with white fluffy polka dots.
Completing her Minnie Mouse-get-up was her patent-leather pumps, and the trademark Disney mouse ears.
Meanwhile, the “Break Free” singer raised up her sex appeal to higher levels during the launching of her new perfume called Ari in Hamburg, Germany on November 6.
Wearing a racy red leather mini-dress with thigh-high pink boots, Ariana was a head-turner in her sexy get-up accentuated by a dangerously high hemline with a vest-style top and form-fitting body that allowed for a generous glimpse of her behind.
Ariana attended the launch of her fragrance in Hamburg along with her brother Frankie. The event was a brief respite from her ongoing whirlwind European promotional tour.
The “Problem” singer showed off her patented sky-high heels which boosted her diminutive five-foot frame with the addition of teetering, and baby pink thigh-high boots.
After the event, which was warmly received by her fans, Ariana took to Twitter to extend her gratitude to her German fans for taking time out to attend the meet-and-greet occasion.
She thanked her Geman babies, which is how she normally refers to her fans, for the endless hugs, love, and kindness and for also coming out to meet her.
